Or I could take you to a few places around town if you want! Someplace where you can have some fun. I have a friend actually, he doesn't smile all that much, but when he does, it is 100% worth it.
I guess if it's complicated, it might be too complicated to explain. And yeah...I got really lucky, to be honest. That's why I try to help out others as much as I can but...
...true friends are there when the going gets rough. They aren't just around you because you're a big name, or because you can provide them with something they want and then if the situations are reversed, they won't do anything or give you time of day.

I'm sorry that people have tried to use you. "It is lonely at the top" is a sentiment I often hear tossed around, and though I never stopped wishing to be there, I can't imagine that existence is particularly easy.
Understanding when people are not "true friends" is the mark of a good person, I think. It means you're not shallow.
